Pastor Jim Griffin obeyed a call from God to start a different kind of church. A church where it was okay to not be okay. A church where people can be honest about what you are going through and be accepted right where you are at . A place of authenticity and healing.  God gave Pastor Jim the name of "Freedom House" and it symbolizes the vision for our church. Salvation means Freedom. Only through Christ's sacrifice can we be set free from our old identity and live a new life.  A house is a place of safety and a sanctuary. Jesus said "My Father's house will be called a house of prayer".  Freedom House is a place to experience the freedom of salvation and to be healed from our hurts, habits and hangups. A place of prayer where we call out to a God who loves and rescues us. We become one together as we lift each other up.

God has called us to the City of Dayton and to the world.  Our vision is to be a church that  brings healing to our community. Teaching the wisdom of God's Word on how to be healthy physically, emotionally and spiritually. Allowing the Holy Spirit to work in our lives and restore our families and relationships.   A church that goes boldly around the world to speak the life changing truth that through the resurrecting power of Christ we are made whole. 

We are headed in God's Divine Direction. Pressing forward to grow in maturity as the body of Christ. Moving towards making more disciples and empowering others to use their gifts to help others. Creating a family where each person is valued.
