FHC 10-17-2026 The Holy Spirit Conclusion

Oct 17, 2026

Pastor Bill concludes our sermon series on The Holy Spirit with a teaching from Romans 8. The Holy Spirit gives believers life, hope, and security in God’s love. In Christ there is no condemnation, and the Spirit leads us toward righteousness and peace, confirms that we are God’s children, and helps us through weakness and suffering.

Believers receive the Holy Spirit at salvation, but being filled with the Spirit requires ongoing surrender, obedience, and holiness. The Spirit gives wisdom, strength, and boldness so our words and daily lives can witness for Christ.

The sermon calls us to be full-time followers of Jesus—trusting God in suffering, yielding our will to His, and remembering that nothing can separate us from His love.
