OCTOBER 10th

Do you know your Heavenly Father? Have you considered Him? He does not wish to be far from you. It is HIS love that brought about your rescue. It is His plan that you walk in and it is His provision that you benefit from everyday. It is He who holds you in His strong hand. It is He who has good plans for you. It is He who spoke the Word through Jesus and now speaks through the Holy Spirit. It is He who prunes us so that we are more fruitful. It is He who gave us the Holy Spirit. He is the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort.

Matthew 11:27 All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

John 14:6-7 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”

John 10:28-30 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.

John 12:49-50 For I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me to say all that I have spoken. I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say.

John 15:1-2 I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes a so that it will be even more fruitful.

John 16:23, 26-27 In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. v26-27 In that day you will ask in my name. I am not saying that I will ask the Father on your behalf. No, the Father himself loves you because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Luke 11:11-13 Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!

John 14:26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Lean in to the Father today, He wants you close. He wants to hear from you today.

Father God, thank you for loving me so much. Help me to understand your love better. Thank you for sending your Son Jesus to save me and for sending your Holy Spirit to help me. Thank you for being my compassionate Father and thank you for making good plans for me. You alone are worthy of all glory and honor and praise. There is none like you. I worship you today. Thank you for providing for me and keeping me safe from the evil one. Help me to honor you with my life today. I ask all of this in Jesus name, may your kingdom come and your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven. Amen!
